Google Drive Adds File Previews for Photos, Videos, and Documents

Google Drive Adds File Previews for Photos, Videos, and DocumentsIf you're a heavy Google Docs user, you probably know how annoying it is to sift through a bunch of files looking for the right now. Starting today, you can preview documents, PDFs, photos, and videos in drive with just a right-click.

This feature is handy for those that sync files to Google Drive, but if you use Google Docs, it's really nice too. You can select and copy text from the preview (even on PDFs and Word documents), zoom in to see more, and even share, download, and print the file right from the preview. It's a small update, but really handy for when you don't want to go into full-on editing mode. The feature will be rolling out over the next few days. Hit the link to read more, or check out Google's help page for more info like supported file types.
