A really awesome Star Fox-style shooter game called ARC Squadron is available for free for a limited time. Considering it's normally five bucks, this is quite a sweet deal. The game takes players through challenging and beautiful stages, where they have to steer their ship with swipe motions, activate secondary weapons to take out the tougher bad guys, and pick up bonus items scattered about. For the deep dive, check out our review of ARC Squadron. It's not clear how long the game will be free for, but just in case it's a one-day thing, you should pick it up now.
